Terms and Conditions of Use

1 — Acceptance

Use of the Axelera website (the “Site”) constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Site.

2 — Who we are

Axelera ETS is an Italian non-profit association (Third Sector Entity) registered at Piazza Castello 2, 20121 Milano, Tax ID (C.F.) 97616020158. Since 2012 it promotes knowledge of exponential technologies through events, content and community. Email: info@axelera.eu.

3 — Content licence

Unless otherwise indicated, the textual content published on this Site — event descriptions, articles, informational texts — is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).

This means you are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
  • Adapt — remix, transform the material and build upon it for any purpose, even commercially.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — credit the source with the name Axelera and a link to axelera.eu, and indicate if changes were made.

Excluded from the CC BY 4.0 licence:

  • The Axelera logo and visual identity materials (all rights reserved);
  • Video recordings of events, published on YouTube under that service’s conditions;
  • Any third-party content on the Site (partner logos, separately licensed images).

4 — Membership and payments

Axelera membership and fee payments are handled via the Open Collective platform. Open Collective’s Terms of Service apply to the transaction: opencollective.com/tos. Membership confers the status of association member under Axelera ETS’s Bylaws. Membership fees are non-refundable unless the Board of Directors resolves otherwise.

5 — Liability

Axelera endeavours to keep the Site’s information up to date and accurate, but does not warrant completeness, accuracy or freedom from error. The Site is provided “as is”. Axelera is not liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Site, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6 — External links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (YouTube, Open Collective, Discord, LinkedIn, etc.). Axelera does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of those sites. Links are provided for informational purposes only.

7 — Third-party intellectual property

Singularity University and the “SingularityU” trademark are property of Singularity University. Axelera’s use of the name “SingularityU Milan” is as an official chapter. All trademarks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners.

8 — Changes to these Terms

Axelera reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Site. Continued use of the Site after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9 — Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute relating to the Site or Axelera’s services falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply.
